Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. She was best known for playing Layla Grant on the television drama Nashville (2012), and Claudia Shepard (Sharknado 2013). In 2015, she was in the role of Jerrica Jem for the movie Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary, Florida by the mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. There is also an older sister named Ally. Aubrey worked with Orlando Repertory Theatre ten years during her youth. Her speech was the valedictory of her class in Lake Mary Preparatory School. Harvard University had accepted her. They had agreed to her admission twice in order for her to play the part of Nashville. Peeples played on the screen in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011, Grey's Anatomy (2005) as and Grey's Anatomy (2005). Also, she had a regular role on Necessary Rustness (1991). Peeples was a TV star as a character in Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. She played a significant role as Layla Grant on the Nashville Drama in the second season. Peeples discussed her bipolar illness in an interview for NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples to be one of the most talented actors younger than 20 in September of 2014.
